Francisca Silva

Hi! I’m Francisca Silva, I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Andrews in the end of 2025. In my PhD project (you can find my dissertation here) I worked on the metaphysical and semantic foundations of three hyperintensional frameworks – impossible worlds semantics, subject matter theory and truthmaker semantics – combining them in various applications.

More broadly, I work in philosophical logic, formal epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, transfeminist philosophy and philosophy of time. Here you can find my CV.
